I just purchased some lipstick from Costco and I see, after opening it, that it’s made in China. I try not to purchase soap, lotions, cosmetics or anything that’s going to touch my skin if it’s made in China. I may return it, I am not sure.

I know I am not alone in feeling this way, due to the history of products from China either having unsafe levels of banned substances in them (toys with lead for example) and products from China doing actual harm (pet food manufactured in China killing dogs and cats for unknown reasons).

I am curious if other Jellies make a concentrated effort to avoid purchasing soap, lotions and cosmetics made in China.
