Also there is a series of books called “basics design:” They do a few like “basics design: print & finish” or “basics design: colour”. These are really good books, they’re not too big, have great examples and get straight to the point. Personally I would recommend these books and any typography books! Never underestimate how important typography is in graphic design!!
