Is there a way to browse or do a search for "add to cart to see price" items?

Both Amazon and Target do this. I guess it has to do with the manufacturer’s minimum advertised price or something?

But that’s not my question! I want to know how to browse or search for them. I tried popping in “add to cart to see price” in the search parameters, but that doesn’t seem to work.

You can see this with the Amazon API Amazon API – Minimum Advertised Price

And I haven’t done it, but it looks like a valid search for their ItemSearch method.

I don’t think there’s a way to do this through their website search directly.

What are you really looking for?

@funkdaddy Looks like I’d have to specify a search index. Bummer because I’m not looking for anything specific. Just looking for some good deals. Too bad they can’t advertise them.

Not sure. I don’t shop that much online.
