There is life after non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Chemo and radiation cause fatigue, changes in appetite and issues with the mucus membranes, but not necessarily depression. There are many different subversions of Non-Hodgin’s Lymphoma. My brothers’ was “below the diaphragm, rapid-growing, B cell.”

Every patient has his own individual protocol and his own idiocyncratic responses, often predicated on age and health before the diagnosis. Certainly it is not going to be a day at the beach.

There is also the issue of whether the surgery got all the cancer or whether it had spread to another or several lymph nodes.

Chemo is time-consuming; radiation is very brief; often just several minutes. There are other forms of treatment available now, also.
