“Great Question” (0points)

It is for my office (though I am kind of interested myself) and I think our budget is around $200. I saw Chris' question in here too, but it didn't list a lot of websites

I like Amazon.com because they have a lot of customer user reviews so you can find out what people who already own what your looking at think of it.

I really like beachcamera.com (http://www.beachcamera.com/shop/home.aspx). They have a great selection with reasonable prices.

http://www.steves-digicams.com/ has fantastic in depth reviews. I'm sure you'll be able to find something that works for the budget!

I use adorama.com and bhphotovideo.com exclusively for new stuff. Little known site keh.com handles tons of used stuff (and a little bit of new stuff)

I usually research on sites like dpreview.com and dcviews.com and amazon.com, and then buy from B&H; or buy.com, (or any reputable seller with the lowest price).

in case you're still looking, i just wanted to second ben's answer about dpreview.com - it doesn't look great at first, but they've got the best info out there. as for buying, it's really just where you can get the model you want for the best price. i like pricegrabber.com, or some other price comparison page, but there are a lot of other good ones, as well.
