“Great Question” (2points)

Do people like the Christian Scientists (now that’s an oxymoron) have to have health insurance if they don’t believe in doctors or Western Medicine (or any medicine)?

Wtf is christian science? Is that like scientology?

Dan_Lyons's avatar

Hahaha…No. Perhaps a little in that they both have science in their title.

Tom Cruise is Christian Science. They believe in waiting to see if God will cure them before ever going to the ER.
Scientology goes door to door via L. Ron Hubbard.

I thought Cruise was a believer in Zenu

You guys are right. I was wrong about Cruise who apparently was in Scientology and is leaving it.

I thought he was still the posterchild. If he left that’ll be news to me.

I googled christian science. Not too much difference between them and the snake handlers we have around here (not kidding) regarding how they view faith healing. I think that many do see medical professionals though. There usually is a religious exemption for just about everything. This probably is not any different.

I would not be surprised if they pulled off some sort of religious exemption bullshit. And then I get a bit of amusement when their asses land in court for child endangerment or whatnot.

@Winter_Pariah I feel bad for the kids when that happens. It pisses me off like nothing else.

Yes. No one is above the law.
