If dancing is against your religion, what do you do if your 4 year old starts to wiggle to music?

A recent Q reminded me about how some kids seem to automatically move to music. Maybe it is actually a learned behavior and if they don’t see adults doing it they kids don’t do it? I really have no idea. In America even if your parents don’t dance you see it on TV.

A few years ago I wondered this and was reminded again now. What triggered it a few years ago was the timing of a girlfriend mentioning her dad pesters her about going to Zumba, which he considers dancing and sinful, and then being at an outdoor restaurant at a resort where a band was playing just a few days later. Low key place, mostly burgers and seafood, small, tables were half full. At one point a very young child got on the dance floor and danced to the music. It was cute. I can’t imagine being a young child and not being allowed to dance. We were encouraged to dance as children.
