I saw him from backstage jamming with Stevie Ray Vaughn in Austin in 1988. What a show!
Of course, he will be missed. He leaves a great legacy of recorded work.

The music world has lost a lot in the past couple of weeks. Seems like hardly more than a couple days go by between the tributes.

It is with sad appreciation that I join you. I’ve been giving tokin’ tributes to his career for about 44 years now.

He was the best rock/blues guitarist that I ever heard.
