I am back home for a week. Then I have to take off again.
I tried to sign in to see what was up, and my password did not work (I was here as @josie before)
Does that mean that something dramatic has happened here? Did I get fired in my absence? Has there been a purge on Fluther?
Anyway, just checking in. Bring me up to date.

1. The “Users Chatting” section (or the chatroom notification) has been added, by Phi.
1.1. The Sea Turtle chatroom has been added.
2. There is a group of 5 vampires that come here. They cause a little trouble but now things have been resolved (also one of the vamps look suspiciously like a cookie!)
3. A lot of people hit their milestones (including @dxs). The meta section was full of parties for some weeks.
4. There was some sad quarrel between the mods and some users.
4.1. The mod team was updated (in fact, one person left the team and two more were added)

I’m not even sure how long you’ve been gone, so the only kind of recent thing that hasn’t already been mentioned is that Auggie stepped down as manager, but she’s still (thankfully!) swimming in the tidepool as a jelly :)

Did you try having them send you a new password? I do it all the time. I think it says, “forgot password” where you sign in, and they will mail you a new password. Just copy paste it and then you can change your password to something you like once you are logged in.

@hud – one of the mods sent you messages regarding the issue with your primary account, and we are awaiting your reply to help straighten that out.
— One of the relatively new things (possibly even before your last visit in June) is the Contact the Mods button at the top of the page, which has been streamlined from the old “contact” button – when you use that, the message reaches everyone on the team, which is more efficient than trying to reach just one of us since our availability varies.
