No fear? I assume you’re talking about rational fear, and not pathological phobia. You do realize that there is a very good reason why we have fears, right? I know me pretty well. If I woke up tomorrow with no fear, I’d be dead tomorrow afternoon doing something really stupid.
Fear causes me to do very risky things relatively safely by making me want to build up a knowledge base and take proper precautions. No use having these experiences unless you can live to tell about them. I would be an absolute fool to solo sail 800 miles from Florida to Martinique without the proper training and equipment., or jump off a 300 foot cliff strapped to a hang glider without at least some instruction and knowledge of thermoclines.
