What's your special hell?

“Great Question” (2points)

If there was a special hell made just for you, what would it be like? How would it torment you? Fire and brimstone? Ice? Endless re-runs of Dallas? What would torture you the most if you were forced to endure it for the rest of eternity?

Heat and sweat.
I hate being hot and sweaty, guess that is the original Hell zone for me.
This summers heat and the drought here has me really irritated all the time.

Religion.

Although it’s somewhat perplexing to me how someone who is not a believer (that is, me) can possibly believe in hell – special or not.

Having to listen to other people’s cell phone conversations wherever I go.

anniereborn's avatar

@Pachy I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I think you already made it there.

Margaret Thatcher naked sitting on my face, while Barbara Cartland sucks on my dick in a vain attempt to produce anything even approaching an erection.

Something like the movie Groundhog day. It doesn’t matter what it is, it is the repetition that would be torture.

Living in the Trueman show. Or worse believing one is in the Trueman show.

Not being loved, or not knowing true love. Or suffering abuse when I can’t defend myself. My first thought was having to only have Pizza Hut pizza the rest of my life. I hate that shit, but then I went a little deeper.

Being stuck in traffic and having a smoker in the car next to me.

I sure do love living in the country. No traffic.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@jonsblond Ugh, I hate cigarette smoke. I can’t even handle walking behind a smoker.

jonsblond's avatar

@jonsblond I was a smoker for many years, then quit over 11 years ago when I became ill with bronchitis. I couldn’t stand smelling cigarette smoke after that. It gives me an immediate headache and sore throat that will last for a day if I’m anywhere near it. Strong perfume does this to me also.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@jonsblond My mother has chronic bronchitis. The doctor’s first question: Did you grow up with smokers. She also smoked and quit, but the damage is there. Strong fragrances kill me too.

Being rid of freedom to express opinions. Or being considered a jerk and rejected.

Hypocrisy_Central's avatar

It would be a godless world with nothing but gay men hitting on me, hot lesbians that will never, obese women vying with the gay men, all of them being vegans who listens to either country/western or rap music, asking endless questions about does he/she love me or why don’t they.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@Mimishu1995 Wow, that was amazing. Freedoms never entered my mind. I have to pay more attention to that. I’ve been called a jerk on here. Makes me laugh and move on. Jerks. :)

jonsblond's avatar

oops. didn’t mean to @ myself. glad you figured I wasn’t talking to myself @Adirondackwannabe ;)

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

Laughs, I didn’t even catch that till you mentioned it. :)

Being locked in a room with 20–30, 12–14yo kids every day of my life.

There was a Twilight Zone episode about a rocker sent to hell, but I didn’t find it.

My special hell is when my heart is in persistent Atrial fibrillation (AF). I have suffered on and off with it for the last 13 years. For several years I’ve gotten feeble relief from AF with harsh drugs that caused more harm than good. I’ve had my heart shocked back to normal rhythm (cardioversion) more times than I can remember (about 12) and they have also used powerful drugs to reset my heart to normal rhythm. In addition to that I’ve had one electro catheter heart ablation and one min-maze heart surgery. Also I’ve been hospitalized for 3 weeks due to complications from the procedures that were suppose to help me. One procedure gave me a pneumothorax, subcutaneous emphysema and pulmonary embolism (which took 3 months of relentless pain to recover from). The mini-mase seems to be working best for me as my heart has remained in normal rhythm now (without taking any drugs) for 1½ years. Of course I’m loving that. You can’t understand how sweet it is to have your heart beat normally until it has been taken away from you. At the same time I’m terrified that AF will someday return and once again make my life a special living hell.

Having to make small-talk with strangers, and watching people or animals suffer.

Mine would be to be forced to live as a woman again. In a place where it’s always cold and snowy. With skiing and snowboarding.

To be forced to live in Vermont.

KNOWITALL's avatar

LOcked in a room with bossy bitchy menopausal women & a bunch of crying babies. Yeah just kill me please.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@KNOWITALL I could handle the babies, I’m good with them. I have firearms for the ladies that don’t behave.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Adirondack The cry of a baby is like nails on a chalkboard, makes me nuts. Some women are not cool at all.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@KNOWITALL The cry is a sign something isn’t right. So I just start looking at it from the little persons viewpoint. I can work with them.
@Mimishu1995 yeah, really.

ibstubro's avatar

Babies have so many different cries, @KNOWITALL, @Adirondackwannabe. You’re likely coming at it from different perspectives.
