We have Bluegrass at this time every year. People come from all over the world to compete in flat picking competitions at the Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds are packed with campers. It’s a very hippish kind of deal.
For a week the town is packed with people, there are barbeques in front of businesses, and impromptu jam sessions all over town. Passed a beer garden set up by the insurance office today.
Kids put up tents in their front yard as a way of participating. Strangely dressed people wander around town.
I can hear the music from my back deck.
It brings in a LOT of revenue for the town, too.
It is so much fun!
