I cannot open yahoo mail from my iPad/phone. It says it cannot connect to the server. But I can get on safari.

The Yahoo servers could be down.

You have to go into settings and add your yahoo account.

I think it’s the new IOS, mine has been having issues retrieving mail since I updated it.

Try downloading the Yahoo Mail app from the app store instead of going through the browser.
