Now that MobileMe has launched, are you going to rethink purchasing?

I have to be honest, I think it looks sexy and ties in quite nice with the rest of my life but I don’t know if its worth the $99.

Yep, I’m getting it (well, already have). The push email doesn’t bother me but the push calendar/contact sharing has sold me. Ever since I cancelled my .mac subscription, I’ve missed being able to do all the syncing between multiple computers, too. Gonna use iDisk for off-site backups for work as well.

Ive got it by default with my . Mac account being switched over, if only they made a Document editing application a la Google Docs, and all my web apps would be covered! My only complaint is that the site is quite slow but I expect that will get better soon… I’m definitely going to renew my subscription when it expires.

I too automatically got it with my .mac. I always thought .mac was lacking, considering the quality of mac products, but I wish they had picked a different name: Mobile me sounds really juvenile, unless I’m missing something.

Its not launched yet. Is up in the U.S? If I go to http://mac.com its still down.

I get it too as part of .mac but I’d tend to agree mobileme is more appealing now than it was for .mac. Although a big reason people bought .mac was for the @mac.com email addy, probably…

@navpack, it’s http://me.com now and it’s working. I don’t know why they’ve got that maintenance page on http://mac.com.. it should be set to redirect to http://me.com

Still running slow as hell, though. I hope they get it sorted soon.

@damien – cool thanks… not redirecting is madness… but hey at least I can get on now, cheers.
