Charging a dragon is what I like to call “doing it wrong”.
I find the random matchmaking in games like Hawken and World of Tanks to be a bit unfair as often victory is less a matter of skill and more a matter of which team has fewer potatoes/noobs on it. That really isn’t fair to those who dedicated time and effort into learning to play. Meanwhile, mixing the potatoes with the highly-skilled (the ones that WoT calls “Unicums”, afer the Latin word that loosely translates to “Exemplar”) isn’t fair to the scrubs that get insta-gibbed and thus never have a chance to learn.
I find it unfair to put “Deathmatch” players in team events like “Team Deathmatch”, or the 15v15 battles of WoT as those players are so concerned with their own performance and so sure they know it all that they generally cause the whole team to lose then blame the rest of the team for their failure. If you want free-for-all fights, then don’t play team games!
