A few romance comedies I was forced to watch ended up being funny.

Porkeys. I tried so hard to be all offended and shit, but I couldn’t help but crack up!

For the first fifteen minutes there were serious doubts that I would continue watching the dvd but between scrounging around the pantry for sandwich making materials and the refrigerator for beer it stayed on and I ended up enjoying it after all.

Attack the Block

2011 Aliens land in a London slum and engage in battle with local gang members.

^^ I’m not entirely sure why, but that surprises me, a lot.
Fine little film though, no doubt.

The Notebook

I generally hate romances – with the exception of the occasional comedy – but had to watch it for class (Psychology due to the dementia). Begrudgingly, I got it and popped it in and sat back on the couch prepared for what I was certain was going to be 2 hours of my life wasted.

All said and done, I cried a bit.

Guardians of the Galaxy.
The previews looked awful, and I only watched it as a courtesy to friends who liked it.
It has a crappy plot, and the characters are not really well fleshed out, but it made me laugh.

@filmfann It’s a very funny film, with numerous lol moments, the “dance off” being one highlight.
