Aren’t they make to give the illusion of breast under clothes, usually worn by crossdressers, as you say, not specifically made to be used without clothes, or colored to look natural and real like a fleshly pair of breast and not specifically for sexual purposes? They are not specifically made to be a stand-in for real breast during sex as a strap-on would.

There are some higher quality ones which function as stand-ins for real breasts during sex.

Despite how we like to and tend to categorize sexuality as heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual, pansexual…. etc. Sexuality is in fact much more akin to a spectrum… a giant, non linear spectrum… Anyway, yes. There are distinct points where someone is distinctly GAY, or STRAIGHT, or BESTIAL (you thought I was going to say Bi, didn’t you?) but like the color spectrum, there are points where (I’ll use Green to Blue to Purple as an example) it’s still obviously green but it obviously has a bluish hint or it’s not quite as “green” as green. Then there are other points which are like blue and purple, I don’t know about others, but for me – when looking at a spectrum or texture gradient, it’s impossible to tell where blue ends and purple starts and vice versa.

So the points ends up being, as @gorillapaws stated, that “there’s a ton of variety in what people find sexually attractive.” And a gay man can certainly like boobs.

Second, there is no better way to do that than to have something that appears as a detached dick? Why not have something that look like a overgrown table leg, or a giant paper stump or mini missile. It’s called biology. Lesbians are still women, with the same basic anatomy as any other woman. Penetration is pleasurable. Some women don’t like being penetrated, but a lot do, and it has little to do with sexual orientation.

I never agreed with the classifications to begin with (homosexual, bisexual, etc.), but then again, if people didn’t identify themselves according to their sexual preferences, the misunderstandings that naturally develop from such classifications wouldn’t follow.
