In grade 10 I wore a coat with no shirt for 3 Months.. I Had Nothing to wear that fits. My growth spurt and depression made it hard to find clean clothes that fit. My parents were busy.
Someting like @Dutchess_III above. Try to at least look presentable though the hair underneath(not visible) was tangled as I could not be bothered to untangle the mess. I have got a bit better about it however.
Like @zenvelo I sleep in the nude, shower at least once a day, and put on fresh clothes after.
If I’m lazy or the weather’s really bad, I might lounge around the house 2–3 days in the same sweats, but they’ve had a break while I slept, and I still take a daily shower.
As others have said, I shower and change my clothes and I never sleep in my clothes.
@talljasperman, if you’re depressed try to make yourself get up and shower and change. It might just help you to feel a little better. I know that might be a real chore when you’re really struggling, but perhaps having some key things that you force yourself to do will help.
No. I mean, I’ve been blue, had a bad day, just want to go hide somewhere for a few hours, but not “depressed,” as in for months and years and it controlled my life. Not enough that it controlled what I wore or for how long. I always get un-blue quickly, once whatever was making me blue was resolved.
