We play this game we call “Who’s The Man” (which, of course, nothing can be found about online). It’s played as follows:
- Every person gets three notes, on each of which he/she writes the name of a person every player is familiar with (e.g. famous people, relatives, etc.)
– All notes are collected into a bowl.
– The group is split up in two teams.
– There then are three rounds. In each round, the teams alternate turns, in which one of the team members has to get the other team members to guess what’s on the note. Every time a note is guessed, the player draws another note, until 30 seconds have passed. Between each round, all notes are added to the bowl again, and the team that guessed fewest notes gets to start the next round. The three rounds differ in how the guessing is to be done:
In the first round, the player can describe the item on the note without using words with capital letters (i.e. names, country names, name of the month, etc.).
In the second round, the player only gets to say a single word – this sounds difficult, but is a lot easier since all players know what notes are present in the bowl.
In the third round, the player does not get to speak, but has to depict whoever is on the note.
It might sound a bit involved, but once you start playing it’s pretty easy, and loads of fun.
Another option is Who am I.
