It’s a new adult book and the main characters are at college. The girl starts to like this guy that everyone thinks is really strange and it turns out he has like super strenghth and could accidentaly kill her.

That is the exact plot of Twilight (dang near) – and maybe X-Men, and spiderman, and Maximum Ride by James Patterson.
