I’ve had my nose pierced for a good two months now, and I’ve had a plastic ring in for two weeks because of volleyball.

Now that the season is over, I want to change the ring, but I lost my original one I pierced it with so i have to buy a new one.

I was wondering if it would be so terrible to change my nose ring from a 16 gauge to a 20 gauge? Would it shrink really badly?
