There are limits in place. You can only get so much from a single person. I think it is something like after 20 Great Answers from a single person it stops adding to your score.

I did the math on this a long time ago when my old account had about 30K. My actual score was around 250K. I wrote a little script to run through all the pages on this and tally up the score.
