I was thinking last night that it had been years – like 5–6 years – since I set foot in a Sears store. I used to go there all the time – mostly for their hardware area. And for years I bought their appliances – when one died, I went and got another Kenmore.

There is a store not that far from me, but when I am looking for hardware I end up going to one of the big boxes (Lowes or Home Depot) and appliances – Costco or one of the big boxes. I think it’s because they have so little of everything that I can find better deals and better choices elsewhere.

Do you still go to Sears? Why?
