It’s a bit hard as it really depends on what I’m in the mood to eat, and the Seattle area has so many options. To show how many choices we have here, when you say, “I’m in the mood for Chinese.”, you have to narrow it down to a particular province.
Mexican – Gordito’s – Their nachos are great with just the right balance of toppings to chips, their fresh Horchata is not overly sweet, and you can get a baby-sized burrito for $10
Greasy spoon – Beth’s – For me, it’s all about the Triple Bypass omelette; bacon, sausage, ham, and double-=helpings of American and Swiss chesse, served on a bed of all-you-can-eat hash browns. I usually settle on the small (6-egg) but have occasionally put away a 12-egger.
Quick bite – El CamiĆ³n – Their Gorditas are great.
Breakfast – Roxy’s – I mix it up a bit, but it’s all good.
Pizza – Venice Pizza – Sometimes the wife and I are just too tired to go out, but these guys make awesome enough pies that when we sometimes give them a call just because we’re in the mood for pizza. They’re delivery-only, but less than a mile away so the pie gets here fast. (Slightly faster for us since we have a rep for tipping well.)
