I’m not a fan of it. I prefer subtle humor.

Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to get her poor dog a bone. When she bent over Rover took over and she got boned instead.

To me, vulgar humor is produced by a lazy or not bright person, and I get bored quickly. A sharp comedian can tell jokes about the same subject matter with twists and turns that keep me in stitches and waiting for more.

It’s vulgar and most often unimaginative. It’s for imbeciles.

That’s the reason why I stopped watching comedies on the TV a long time ago. The comedies being produced here are just too vulgar and shallow. Some of them even go to the point that the humor is only there to make people laugh, and they have nothing to do with the plots. I just hate that kind of humor, they don’t serve anything other than make people laugh for a few seconds then roll their eyes. I have the feeling the humor is just there to save the otherwise horribly boring plots.

There are people who can pull it off, but they are extremely rare, and the material itself is like handling unstable explosives. I saw snatches of a Flavor Flav roast last night, and found it——well not to my taste.

There was a show in the us called “married with children”. I couldn’t bear to watch it.

I prefer Abbot & Costello over Sarah Silverman.

Vulgar humor is unnecessary for those who are actually funny.

I like the op on occasion find it at least mildly entertaining. But more often then not I find it more then unsatisfactory and quite often distasteful or even revolting. Maybe there truly is a time a place for everything. Just certain things have a much shorter “fresh” time.

@trailsillustrated That’s too bad, because that program was highly instructive. Every character in it was an exaggerated sendup of some American prototype.

I remember going on a ship and watching a comedian with dirty humor. Everyone was laughing but me. I hoped that it was because they were drunk. I love subtle humor.

Some good, some bad, as with all humour.
There is no blanket view, just ask Michael Jackson’s kid after you poked him in the eyes.

There’s something about both vulgar humor and cheesy humor that I absolutely adore; the fact that whoever is telling the jokes actually thought that up, and the reactions people have to it. One of the things that makes me laugh the most about humor, for some reason, is often the distribution and the reactions, rather than the jokes themselves. It’s kind of hard to explain, but there you go.
Otherwise I agree with @ucme. Some is good, some is bad. I guess I should probbaly say no more, but on the other hand anyone who knows me on here knows I have next to no class, anyway. :D

I personally don’t trust people who don’t swear and are offended by vulgar humor.

It doesn’t bother me. The only humor I don’t care for is British.~

Not a fan, I agree, a truly funny and bright person can come up with all sorts of great observational humor, my preference.
I can be a bit out there at times, maybe inappropriate to some, but never vulgar.
Lately I have been joking about “Bruce Gender” and how I’m surprised he hasn’t been approached to do the box cover for Froot Loops. haha

I have also been cracking jokes about the wiener mobile waiting for certain annoying weenies I encounter in my travels. ” Hark, what’s that? I think I hear the wiener mobile honking for you!”
