I am taking a summer art class at my community college and we are required to do a drawing of the human body, and it can be original or based on someone else’s photography, with the original source included. I originally wanted to draw the female body, but I chose to draw this photograph instead because I think the model looks quite angelic and I think the cherub quality will be fantastic as a sketch. However, he does strike me as looking very young, even though he is definitely 19.

Do you think I should go with this or choose something else? Also what is your opinion on the nudity in this photograph? Do you think it’s artistic? Or gratuitous?
