From what I understand, the reliability of the roof is totally dependent on the reliability of the company/person that installs it.

Requires periodic re-application.

A nightmare to remove.

I went with membrane for a flat roof, and fo far, so good, but it’s only been a year or two. and a small surface.

I suppose you’re only asking our experience?

@flo Yes, if you have used it or are considering installing it. Or, if there are any contractor jellies out there, what do you think of foam roofs?
@ibstubro Wow, didn’t know that. One company advertises “lifetime warranty”. Are we talking about the same thing?

@2davidc8 Okay. Otherwise people can post link after link for that info. I asked before I did that.

Realistically, what is the lifespan of, foam? Any foam?
How hard is it to pop a bubble?

Pros: adds a layer of insulation
Cons: when they DO leak (and they do) it’s hard to find the leak because it goes through the crack and in the surface and then runs somewhere else and comes through the ceiling in some random different place. It’s a total pain in the ass.
