If you just finished your period last week you should be okay. I hate condoms too, I don’t want to shake hands while wearing gloves.

Do you want to trust “should be good” and end up pregnant? For the rest of the month I would continue with the pills, but use condoms also. Better safe than sorry.
And absolutely go get your prescription filled a few days before you need them.

Who can say? If you have a revolver in the house, load three cartridges into the cylinder, spin the cylinder, point it at the toilet and pull the trigger once. Unload the gun and put it away. If the toilet survived, consider yourself lucky. Same odds on the BC pills at your late date.

Your pharmacist sounds irresponsible. They won’t be left literally ‘holding the baby’ though. Use a condom.

On my birth control pack it says a late start is the most common cause of pregnancy, so I would just use extra protection until next month. That’s a bummer that happened!

Also, as an aside, antibiotics can negate the birth control meds. It’s how my most recent grandson came to be.
So if the Dr. ever puts you on antibiotics for whatever reason, use condoms (or whatever) as well.
