Do you miss any out of print computer programs?

DOS and Windows 95, but it’s just because there are so many great games using those platforms.

@Mimishu1995 I miss Command and Conquer for win 95.

@talljasperman You can still run Qbasic but why would you when there are languages like Python.
I miss the old hex editor in Dos but there are plenty of programs that are much better. I can’t say I miss the old shit too much.

Netscape circa 1995… But only if it were still 1995, I really wouldn’t want that now!

Nope. Most of the old programs I like have either been replaced with newer versions I like better, been ported to run on current systems, or have no issues running under Win7 in the first place.

I liked QBasic back in the day, but it’s purpose is filled so much better by Notepad++. I used to love HyperCard on the Mac, but there is HyperNext which also runs on Windows. Scorched Earth is still here. We really haven’t lost anything… though we have had a lot of people fail to adapt and get stuck decades in the past.
