Yes, I watch it frequently and check the schedule daily. They have some really excellent documentaries as well as music selections. Their Frontline series is almost always a must-see for me.
As a matter of fact, right now I’m watching a 2 hr. doc titled “Navy Seals—Their Untold Legacy” which traces the earliest origins from “frogmen” up to their current iteration.
I watch a lot on Saturdays especially because that’s when the cooking shows are on. Jacques Pepin just started a new series.
There’s also a show called “Under the Radar, Michigan” with a quirky kind of host which features noteworthy aspects of different towns all around the state.
There’s also a new show called “A Craftsman’s Legacy” in which the host travels to various artisans like Stained Glass makers, wood turners, metal engravers and has them demonstrate how to do it.
I particularly like Saturday nights because it’s all music from various genres all evening long up till 3–4 AM. In addition to Austin City Limits and the Artists Den, they’ll play favorite full concert films like Manheim Steamroller, Celtic Thunder, Daniel O’Donnell. Occasionally they’ll do a throwback like Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park or James Taylor and Carole King Live at the Troubador.
So, yeah, I guess you could say I watch PBS a lot :)
