Hello Fluther Community,

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

I recently bought a domain with GoDaddy and am looking to create a website. The problem is- I have no idea where to begin.

I am pretty tech-savvy once I get the hang of things, but I figure eventually I would need to pay someone to make the website more professional looking.

I want the website to be simple and basic.

This is the concept that I am going for: (Click Link, Link is Safe)

It is very basic and only 1 page. It is a huge picture of her laying on the beach that takes up the screen, a graphic font of her name, plus some social media site buttons.

I imagine that something quite this simple would be easy for me to create on my own without a professional website developer.

My question is – does anyone know how I would go about doing this? Or can anyone recommend website creators?
