Do you ever eat fennel?
I never even knew fennel existed (I am not the most observant person) until I came across a recipe for it. It must be the least discussed vegetable, but there must be enough people who eat it for it to be carried by supermarkets. I like fennel as a change of pace. Its licorice-like flavor is a bit exotic, but I enjoy it as an occasional centerpiece of a stew.
