I think it’s great you took the test. If you don’t care that your score was low, then that’s fine. If you wind up caring, because maybe you are in some sort of denial stage, then look at the test and see maybe if it’s your test taking skills and not your knowledge of the subject. Reread the questions. Test taking is a skill in and of itself, and there are classes for it and you can take practice tests.
It’s up to you, I certainly have no opinion on what you should do. Always good to try, and you did. That takes guts and I applaud you for it.
Some colleges in America you can take classes not for a grade. If you’re interested in learning in a classroom type setting, maybe even online but with a professor rather than reading on your own, that might be an option.
