Is it a fake story that Maria Sharapova talked about the ugly carpet at the hotel?
They only have part of the press conference here:

Nothing about that part on some other news sites either. She supposedly started the press conference with the talk about the ugly carpet. Why would the news sites edit out that part of the video? Don’t they end up not being competent enough, for not having the whole story?
Also why would she talk about the carpet? It obviuously doesn’t help help explain the doping thing. Could it be the manager (or whoever else) who advised her to do so?
