I don’t have the 24/7 news cycle, for the most part, not having broadcast TV. I generally look at Google News pretty soon after getting on the computer in the morning. Maybe a couple of times during the day. If I’m in the car, I have NPR on, and even NPR is giving me about more coverage than I can stand. Like @janbb, I listen less than ever.
“Print” news is all I really get, @zenvelo. I try to stick to the headlines because opening a new political story it’s impossible to tell the real truth from fiction.
You’re pretty damned close, @SQUEEKY2. If the election ends up risking America’s national security, Canada is bound to have repercussions.
I didn’t see any news feed of Trump’s products, but I read a story the following day about how much of the crap doesn’t exist today @Darth_Algar. Do you think Donald knows that? Honestly?
I follow it, @dappled_leaves. It just make me more depressed. I heard something about a Cruz rally locally and I called around trying to find if there was a protest planned. Unfortunately it’s Ted’s dad, and he’s only preaching to a handful of the local choir.
A hopeless waste it is, @Lawn, but we still have to try to wrap our minds around how and why.
Well, then cheer up, @Cruiser, because that’s not what I said.
Personally, I think this is a last gasp for blatant national racism, @1TubeGuru. As long as the racists aren’t allowed to take power. Personally, my intended presidential vote has done an about-face.
