Have you ever wanted to be a prince or princess?

“Great Question” (1points)

Particularly when you were younger. I always thought it would have been interesting to be a prince back in the pre-Christian times in Ireland, when we had monarchies.

Yes. I was a great fan of Hal Foster’s Prince Valiant color serial cartoon in the Sunday funnies. I still bring them up on the net now and then for the graphics and nostalgia. Great graphics.

No. Emperor or God-King, but to hell with being a mere prince.

Never. I wanted to be a cowgirl a veterinarian, a writer, an artist, but never a princess.
Okay, maybe a queen, lets go for power, off with their heads. lol

No. I always thought of it as fairy tale when I was young. Maybe because I was American and didn’t realize royalty was a real thing and still exists.

No. I can’t ever remember wanting to be a princess when I was a child. Not sure why it never appealed. I definitely wouldn’t want to be in that position now. All that media scrutiny. Sounds horrible!

Used to, but then I realized that in some cases you have to marry to someone you don’t love as a princess.

In 1999 I wore a Raspberry Beret (the kind you find in a second hand store) was a romantic notion but this is what it sounds like When Doves Cry

To be honest, I also wanted to be a dog. My dad thought I was crazy. He always wanted to be a sailor at that age, so I got kiddie sailing lessons out of the deal.

Never. Even as a little kid, I could see the “job” as interminable thankless work and a pile of dicouraging endless responsibilities. And once I could read, came the discovery that things were worse than I’d thought. I remember as a boy watching Queen Elizabeth’s coronation on our klunky grainy tv. I swear to this day I remember that impassive expression on that young girl’s face. Even as a kid I was uneasy watching as the voice in my head tugged “somethin just ain’t right” And I knew what it was. Her Majesty had exactly the look that I wore when forced into my straight jacket of a suit and paraded as if in pursuit of a blue ribbon.
