They used to advertise a drug for it all the time. Now they don’t any more. Is everybody healed of it?

People moved on to gluten intolerance.

I had it and was given inderal. It went away on its own.

It’s real

I didn’t say it wasn’t. I just wonder why the drug for it is no longer advertised.

Not advertised because all the people who have it are taking the drug. It’s not like it was terribly common.

It’s painfully real.

It’s the subject of one of the “God is a twisted and cruel motherfuker” jokes.

I’m about to fall in to a lovely sleep, just as I do, I am awakened by painful twitching in my legs. (Repeat for greater effect, for up to an hour sometimes).

Hilarious.

@SecondHandStoke How about when I have it suddenly happen when falling asleep after first time sex with a new girlfriend. She was sure I was mad at her taking the blankets or something.

It’s still around. People still have the condition.

The drug company just isn’t putting advertising dollars towards playing the commercial now I guess. Or, the drug maybe got pulled? I don’t remember hearing anything about it getting pulled from the market.

I’m wondering if the patent expired for the medication, and therefore the generic is now available. If so, the drug is no longer as profitable for the manufacturer, therefore, no need or less need to spend big bucks advertising.
