Always in my hot teas, sometimes in my coffee, always on cream of wheat, oatmeal, granola and when I do pastries. But I prefer sugar in my coffee which is very strong. (I use goat milk quite often, too). I have to use way too much honey or sugar to sweeten ice tea, either Lipton or, more often, Roselle berry. The only thing that sweetens ice tea properly is artificial sweetener.
Honey prices are high down here as well, but the honey is local and real. I have a colony of little melipona stingless bees to give honey and pollinate my vanilla plants. Meliponas are against the law in the States.
@jca is absolutely right, a lot of honey in the States is counterfeit from China. There are articles galore about this from good sources all over the net.
