My dad insisted that we do 6 laps around the school track, when I was 5, In order to get bacon for breakfast. I learned that all I had to do was say that I did and I got bacon. I had no choice. My heart murmur was painful when I run. I learned that the girls didn’t get bacon , so I ran the laps and refused the bacon unless my sisters got some too.
