I’m asking because of the Burquini or Burkini in France is in the news.

There is nothing Burqa-ish about it and nothing bikini-ish about it. It’s more wetsuit and hijab realted, since the face isn’t covered and the outfit is not a wide long dress.

Burkini is catchy and evocative. It works as a brand name.

I would have loved one of those back in my religious days. I always talked about making a “modest swimsuit”, but I never learned how to sew.

I think Burkini is a great name; it combines the idea of religious modesty with a bathing suit. Catchy and meaningful.

Or – what @Seek just said above. :-)

“WetJab” sounds like one of those uncomfortable sex positions recommended by Cosmopolitan magazine.
