When will we have super computers that are in the exoflops range?

FLOPS
In computing, FLOPS or flops is a measure of computer performance, useful in fields of scientific calculations that make heavy use of floating-point calculations. For such cases it is a more accurate measure than the generic instructions per second.

According to Wikipedia, at a supercomputing conference in 2009, Computerworld projected exascale implementation by 2018.

But it won’t make your internet connection any faster, and you can’t answer a fluther question before it is asked.
