Have visited and explored a lot of the city and loved it. But I know it’s easy to idealize a place when you’re a tourist and on vacation. My partner and I have started browsing homes in the Garden District and like what we see. May like to be a future buyer. Too risky? We’re from NYC so we’re used to city life but we prefer the pace of NOLA to Manhattan. Is this a decent area to raise a family as two middle-class professionals?
