I’ve heard that it is currently visible, and the Connecticut skies seem clear tonight, so where should I be looking?

According to Space dot com On New Year’s Eve, the comet will be visible through a telescope or binoculars near the crescent moon, sporting a blueish-green head and thin, fan-shaped tail, NASA researchers said.

It’s hard to see. I am an amateur astronomer, I know exactly where to look, and I couldn’t find it. It’s very low. Best bet is to set up a camera on a tripod tomorrow and point it at the area of the sky and take a series of timed exposures.
