On rare occasion my brain has blended two completely separate musical selections into one. Like it was playing both simultaneously, or somehow combining two into one, fusing.

It never occurred to me that this might happen to other people. Today a friend asked me if it had ever happened. When it happened to him, he didn’t like it. When it happened to me, I was amused and joyed. He is a musician. I am not.
