“Great Question” (2points)

They have built there careers on Obama is coming to get your guns and Democrats are stealing tax payer money and President Obama is a communist. So what now? Can they attack their own for ratings? News is boring if they spend all their time agreeing with the government.

“News is boring if they spend all their time agreeing with the government.”

Too bad that’s exactly what is going to happen. Unless it has already happened, and will now simply continue happening.

The right isn’t running anything just yet. They have to figure out the new wiring. They can continue to state what it is they think they want and see how it fits into the new curriculum as it unfolds.

@Sneki95 For years they have worked on cultivating angry viewers for ratings. So without a Black President to blame for everything (well I suppose they can still blame Obama for about a year) what will they do to attract their viewers. If they say the economy is bad or gays are taking over, then Trump looks bad.
They all now have their big Trump pacifier so I assume that means they will go back to their boring lives and in time will stop tuning into news that no longer gets their angry genes flowing.

Their ratings went sky-high, bypassing CNN for the first time ever, during the eight years that they blindly defended Bush, Jr. in contrapunkt to the Left’s constant and justifiable attacks on his and his administration’s decisions. They will do very well defending this president.

65 million people voted for Hillary…that is a pretty sizeable audience. Faux news will be just fine.

Roger Ailes is going to use Trump to exact revenge on his former employer and/or somehow get reinstated. It was only~ sexual harassment. You know, she should take it as a compliment. ~~

@Espiritus_Corvus Eventually people want to be fed doom and gloom. There are some givens in our society. Violence, disaster, shootings, sexual assault and conspiracies sell. It is the news bread and butter. Kittens and everything is going swell is ignored. Most Americans are a sorry sod who need to direct their anger at someone. That is why reality TV is so popular and shows about prisons. They feel like crap and revel at the idea that someone’s life is crappier. It’s why violent sports are celebrated. Just like Roman leaders of the past. Americans need to see lions rip flesh apart to forget about their own misery.

^^Man, if that is true, Americans need to take a vacation, stop and think their rotten lives over before they use them up on such shit and realize that their one and only crack at this has been wasted. What a bleak existence you/ve described. Depressing.

@Espiritus_Corvus I don’t think vacations work. Though it isn’t all americans but a good portion. The same goes for most of man kind period. If it wasn’t so, war wouldn’t exist. People would actually talk to each other and compromise before going to war.
I may add that I have gone on vacations and have met some fabulous people in different countries and I find them often to be surprised that I am not like their idea of what an American behavior is like. when I ask them what were they expecting, they would say they have come into contact with rude Americans way too often. On my last trip, I was given free coffee, a bottle of wine, and fruit, free lotion I like from a local who gave massages, free chocolates from restaurant, staff and cleaning staff and Concierge. We asked the Concierge if this was normal at the hotel and he said no. The staff really liked us. I didn’t believe him, but he said how else would he know about the clean room I left behind every day. I don’t think I did anything fabulous. I just treated them with respect and not my servants to be abused. But it made me realize that not everyone who goes on vacation learns to be a decent person. A douche at home is a douche anywhere they go.

Faux News will do just fine. I’m more concerned for how the honest media will do in a country that can’t face the truth.

^^ Or tell the difference.

Trump owes FOX a great deal. He has in fact adapted their tactics verbatim and gotten himself elected. FOX labels itself a news organization, when it is in fact the defacto propaganda organ of the GOP. As with Trump, the stunning success of the “network” is due simply to the accumulating numbers of our citizens unable (or unwilling) to distinguish the difference between objective journalism and blatant propaganda. The operation’s triumph persists as a shining tribute to Goebbels who understood the advantages to be derived from treating the common people with the contempt they deserve.

Here’s a case in point:

“President Donald Trump has accused the media of dishonestly reporting that there were empty spaces on the National Mall at his inauguration

You have to admire his gall but can you believe anything that comes from his mouth.
