They are both native to the same tropical location and their skin looks similar
Mango is a sweet and sour flavor like peach or pineapple
Papaya has a sweet flavor like apricots.
Mangoes have one big seed in them but Papayas have tons of seeds that can be taken out easily.
They both have anti-aging benefits, they both hydrate skin and they help with acne/dark spots. They also help with heart care and cancer prevention.

This is a Mango
This is a Papaya
They taste quite different from each other.
They are very much different w.r.t. shape / size / taste everything. What similarities did you find in them if I may ask?

Papaya tree
Mango tree
They are both delicious. Papayas are very simple to eat. Cut them in half and scoop out the many seeds and eat the flesh.
I find mangoes to be more difficult. The large seeds don’t come out as easily.
@RocketGuy That is not easy. It’s easy to find that picture on the internet. It’s another thing altogether to accomplish in real life. I suggest you link a picture of yourself cutting it that cleanly.
I do it at least once a week during mango season. The trick is to use a knife with a dull tip, so that you don’t cut through the peel when making the squares. Cutting the slab takes guesswork because you need x-ray vision to know if the seed is thick or thin. I just assume thin, then curve the cut around if I hit seed.
Good for you. I can’t do it. I end up with mashed mango, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s not the most delectable way to eat mango, but it will do in a pinch.
