Do chromebooks have an antivirus? I gave myself a virus?
I got an email today. “so and so shared a document with you” I clicked it. It took me to a page that asked me to allow certain permissions. Then, out of habit, I clicked allow without reading any of the permissions. It was taking a while to load and that’s when I noticed the “Allow drive to send, delete, and receive emails.” I went right down to the office when I read that and they said they don’t know what to do. They’ve gotten 8 students today who did this also. Is there any advice you guys can give? or should I wait until the school figures it out? Is there an antivirus I can download for my chromebook? I can’t find anything…
I feel so stupid, I’ve been in a cyber defense program for two years, and I carelessly click a link and give myself a virus.
