When flagging, I try to be careful not to say something is spam unless I’m sure it is. If I only suspect it, I usually choose “something else” and say it might be or looks like spam.

Do flag codes get prioritized so that mods see certain ones before others? For purposes of mod response, does it matter which of the choices I pick? Do the categories serve some other purpose besides just briefly identifying the problem?

Does it help for me to avoid calling it spam unless I’m certain, or should I just go ahead and call it spam because it might be? What’s the most helpful guideline to follow?
