What was it that made you first start to think about saving the world?

Was it a person? A teacher? A parent? That introduced you to the idea? A religion? A war? An experience that horrified you?

What was this experience that brought it all into crystal clarity: the world needs saving and you’ve got to help!?!

We need to save the world from ourselves, individually.

Not everyone else.

I have always believed that one person can make a difference.

I was abused and not protected as a child, and always wanted someone to save me. For a long time, I just survived each day, with no thought of what was going on around me. When I was finally old enough to save myself, it dawned on me, that I’m not the only one suffering in the world. I think my experiences gave me a great deal of empathy to other’s suffering. I want, in some small way to save them.

I’ve already saved the world. Don’t worry. It’s going to be okay. However. do stop driving your car, and plant a garden soon.
