(NSFW) Is it normal for a female doctor not to do a testicular exam during a physical?
Just recently had my first physical in a long time, and was surprised that my new primary doctor didn’t peform a testicular exam or a urinalysis. I usually perform a testicular exam myself once every other month, but I was hoping to have some reassurance from a doctor.
I’ve heard that young female doctors nowadays skip the testicular exam because they’re afraid of being accused of “inappropriate touching”. Do you think this claim has any validity?
